The Purple Raiders begin spring football practice tonight at 8:00 p.m. at Mount Union Stadium.  Each NCAA Division III institution is allowed 16 spring practices and Mount Union has tentatively scheduled its to begin tonight and finish on April 25th. Unlike Division I spring practices, pads are not allowed.  If you're traveling to attend a practice its advised you contact the Athletic Department to confirm their have been no changes to the schedule.

Start times have been announced for Purple Raider football games in 2008.  The regular season kicks off at 1:30 p.m. on September 6th against St. John Fisher at Mount Union Stadium, followed by an evening tilt against Ohio Northern in Alliance the following week.  The rest of the contests will all start at 1:30 p.m. with the exception of the week four game at Baldwin-Wallace, which will kickoff one half hour later.  Mount Union has five home and five road contests in 2008.  You can see the entire regular season schedule here.
