The Mount Union College Sports Information Director's office has posted its 2007 Purple Raider Football Preview, which you can read here.

In addition, start times have been announced for many of this year's games.  The regular season kicks off at 1:00 p.m. on September 1st against Averett at Mount Union Stadium, followed by two evening contests in Alliance, the 15th against Otterbein and the 22nd versus Muskingum.  The Purple Raiders have six regular season home games this season with four contests on the road.  You can see the entire 2007 Schedule here.

The Purple Raiders begin spring football practice this week at Mount Union Stadium.  Each NCAA Division III institution is allowed 16 spring practices and Mount Union has tentatively scheduled its for Thursday and Friday evenings, Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons, weather permitting.

Spring practices are mostly held at Mount Union Stadium and are open to the public.  Things will culminate on Saturday, April 21st, with an intrasquad scrimmage at 7:00 p.m. at the stadium.
