The Purple Raiders are wrapping up spring practices this week with the final practice to be held this weekend.  Originally scheduled for Saturday evening, the final practice has been moved to Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.  Practices are held at Mount Union Stadium and are open to the public.

We're nearly four months removed from Mount Union's win over Wis-Whitewater in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl, and just four months away from football camps opening on Division III campuses around the nation, including the nine Ohio Athletic Conference schools.  We've taken a look at what might be expected in the OAC in the upcoming season in our 2007 OAC Preview, which includes an in-depth look at each of the conference teams.  You can read our complete preview here.

The very first edition of the Raiders Newsletter is now available here.  This is a monthly publication that is all about Mount Union football.  In the first release you can see the final design of the 2006 national championship rings, among other things.  The Raiders Newsletter is written and distributed by players and coaches of the Mount Union football team.

There is still room to join the 2007 Football Summer Camp slated for this summer at Mount Union College.  There are three camps with Session I running from June 11th to June 13th, Session II from June 14th to June 16th and Session III from June 18th to June 20th.  The camps are open to all football players entering grades 6-12.  You can read more and get registration information here.
