Mount Union assistant football coach Joe Leigh has been selected as Northeastern Ohio’s Assistant Coach-of-the-Year.  Leigh will be honored at the 16th Annual Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet of the Northeastern Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation.

Leigh has been an assistant to Larry Kehres the past 15 seasons, including the last several years in charge of the Raider defensive line.  Prior to joining the Purple Raiders coaching staff, Leigh served as head football coach at Ravenna High School from 1970 to 1988.

I've updated the Future Schedules section to include Mount Union's football schedule through the 2009 season.  At this time the Purple Raiders have only contracted with non-conference opponents through the 2005 campaign.

The 2004 Mount Union Football Golf Scramble is scheduled for Saturday, July 10th at the Tannenhauf Golf Course near Alliance.  The scramble is open to former players, Century Raiders, season ticket holders and special friends of Mount Union College football.  You can go here for more information and registration forms.
