Three Purple Raider football players worked out Friday for a number of scouts at Mount Union College.  Quarterback Rob Adamson, cornerback Chris Kern and running back Dan Pugh went through a series of workouts for several NFL scouts, including representatives from the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Seattle Seahawks.

This was the second workout on the Mount Union Campus for the trio hoping to play in the NFL.  The first was attended by representatives of the Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions two weeks ago.  The three former Purple Raider All-Americans are now waiting to hear back from teams for an individual workout at their training facilities prior to the NFL draft on April 26th and 27th.

Mount Union College will be hosting a football clinic the first weekend in April.  The clinic will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5th at the Timken Physical Education Building.  Mount Union assistant football coach Vince Kehres is the clinic director, featuring Mount Union head coach Larry Kehres and Arizona head coach John Mackovic.  Call Vince Kehres at (330) 829-6652 for registration information.
