D3football.com has posted its 2002 Preseason Top 25.  Mount Union, the two-time defending nation champions, claim the top spot with Ohio Athletic Conference rivals Ohio Northern 6th and John Carroll 15th.  You can see their entire Preseason Top 25 here.

I've changed the right side of this page, adding pictures of some of the players you'll see leading Mount Union this season.  Thanks again to Bill Gough and Carol & Gary McDonald for their terrific photography skills that help bring this website alive with game photos.

As work at Mount Union Stadium continues, the Purple Raider football team is now one month away from opening camp in preparation of the 2002 season.  Players are due to report August 15th, with the season opener three weeks later on September 7th.  Look for our preview of the 2002 season this week.
