The official game program from the 1947 season opener between Mount Union College and Kent State University. The game was played on September 27, 1947 at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio. The Purple Raiders fell to the Golden Flashes 13-6, before 13,000 fans. That crowd still stands as an attendance record for a Mount Union home football game. The Raiders have an all-time record of 6-6-2 vs. the Flashes. |
